Good Report

Addi's chest tube was removed this morning. She was given some morphine to help with the pain of the removal, but it still made her cry a little. Dr. Christian (Addi's Surgeon) came in this morning with good news. Addi's recovery is going so well, that she may get to go home soon. Addi's Mom and Dad were able to get answers to some of their questions and I think are feeling a little more reassured. The surgeon said when her O2 Sats get down into the 70's it will be time for the next surgery. That will probably happen when she is somewhere between 3 and 6 months old, although some babies have been able to go longer (up to 18 months). Please pray for Addi to continue to recover and that her pain decreases.
