Addi is 3months old!

We had a minor scare with Addi’s weight gain. Three weeks after she weighed 8 lbs. 1oz, she weighed in at 7 lbs. and 14 oz. She appears to be filling out and growing so we were a bit confused. Her most recent weight this week at 3 months is 8 lbs. 6ozs. We believe there must have been some kind of problem with the doctor’s scales at her 2 month checkup.

Addi is changing every day. She is smiling more and much more alert. She has her next appointment with her pediatric cardiologist on June 13th. She will have another echocardiogram and what ever other testing they need to do to access her condition. Her oxygen saturation has remained steady at 95% when it has been checked at her pediatrician’s office. Her color is also very good. It is so easy to think there is nothing wrong with her because aside from being so small, she looks very healthy.

A couple of weeks ago Addi and her parents went to Florida to visit her Granny. We didn’t know if it was safe for Addi to fly, but her cardiologist said it was fine and she did great. She slept through both flights.



She also went to a family wedding in Nashville.



Please continue to pray for Addi and her parents. Please also pray for her doctors to make good decisions about her care. We appreciate so much all of the concern that has been shown to our family. I have people ask me daily how Addi is doing.
