Heart Cath Information

Addi did fine. They stretched her pulmonary artery with a balloon and then put in an expandable stent. It will be expanded via heart caths as she grows to keep the artery open. The narrowed area is due the the pulmonary artery band that she had for the first year of her life. The band was removed last year during her surgery, but the artery had maintained a narrow area where the band had been. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers.

We have a date for her BIG heart surgery: JUNE 17
Mark it on your calendars as a reminder to pray extra hard as the day gets closer. If all goes well, this might be the last open heart surgery she will have to have.

Addi's birthday party was a big success. I think everyone had a good time and we had a good turn out.



She is getting to be such a big girl. Here she is "checking her email" on her toy "puter".
